Beyond Qubits 2026 is the third edition of a conference series focused on quantum technologies beyond standard qubit encodings, including qudit-based approaches. Following previous editions in Trento, Italy, and Waterloo, Canada, the Sydney meeting will bring together experimentalists and theorists for a curated, in-depth workshop on emerging quantum technologies beyond standard qubit platforms, with topics including

• Advanced quantum information architectures
• Quantum controls
• Quantum error corrections
• Quantum algorithms
• Quantum devices and materials

In addition to the usual conference format of technical presentations, the workshop is designed to provide ample time for in-depth discussions, exchange of ideas and the development of new collaborations across different physical platforms and research communities.
